update at last!!

Alright. I'm REALLY bad at updating. Pretty much, I don't have that much to tell. Banff... well.. I'm not the biggest fan, this year. For many reasons, but mostly just one, which if you've talked to me at all this year, I'm sure you are aware of. Anyway. Lets see.. Um.. I went home, for my mom's 50th birthday party. That was so much fun! First time Jonah, Sam and I have been together in a number of years. I hadn't even seen Jonah in two. We had a big surprise party, and despite their being a storm that caused a couple people to go off the road, it turned out quite well. I was only home fora few days, but it was great.

James Epp came out for another weekend of scary movies. Well, he mostly slept through them. The original Wicker Man is a must though, it's... very bizarre. Hm.. Matt Andersen came to Banff! James, Jody, Dave, Joy and I went to see he and Charlie A'Court. Matt is friggin amazing, I can't get over it. He rocks. Gives me good bumps. Oh, I got drugged at this pub at a going away party for our friend, with that stupid date rape drug. I drank like an inch of my drink, felt sick, got up to go, and passed out while hugging Matt goodbye. Lucky me, so I didn't pass out on the floor or outside. They called the ambulance. It was really weird. I woke up on the floor and didn't know what was going on. Off to the hospital which cost me $345 for the ride, and they did nothing. Retards.

I'm going home in April, I think. Our lease runs up March 31st, then I'm going to go to Calgary for a week or two, then home. Jody says he's going to come visit for a week or so this summer, and we're going to take a road trip. I'm pretty excited about that. Also, I am thinking about going to school in Fton in the fall. Maybe. We'll see. In the mean time, here are some pictures from home, as well as a couple from Johnston Canyan.

Happy New Year/Birthday, Willie

I'm not very good at updating. Not a whole lot has happened.... I turned 22 a couple weeks ago. James Epp came and spent the weekend with me, took me snowboarding at Lake Louise for my birthday. Tons of fun! We watched a bunch of scary movies. Plus he got me the Christmas tree :) Then there was Christmas... I went to Calgary on Christmas Eve, and came back Boxing Day night. Karen and I went Boxing Day shopping downtown. It wasn't as busy as I expected, and there were some pretty good sales! Other than that... not a whole lot going on. Working, eating, sleeping. Whoot. It's New Years Eve (Happy Birthday, Willie!!) and I'm sitting home alone. Joy and Sherri are working, and well, I refuse to call the Canmore guys. Things are kind of weird there right now. Anyway. I can't wait to go home.

Happy New Year!

O Christmas Tree

Thanks to James Epp, we have a beautiful Christmas tree!

50899 minutes until Christmas

I don't really have anything to say, not much going on. Work, sleep, argue with James. Jody and I saw Borat the other day. Shocking. Watched Casino Royale last night in Calgary, he's a way better Bond than Pierce Brosnan. A lot more... attractive? Not sure the word. Hot isn't really it, but he's a lot sexier, I guess, than good ol' Pierce. Though what's with those little shorts?

I never thought I'd like John Mayer, but Continuum is a great CD! Check it out. Also... Ginger Beef. If you've never tried it, do. Highly recommended.

848 hours til Christmas. 35 days, if you prefer.

Pictures... Jody and I, and James, Jody, and I.

Trick or Treat!

Check out those kick ass ninja stars. I think Joy and I were most definitely the oldest trick or treaters in Banff. Apart from the parents taking their small children around, but you can't really count that. I definitely felt a little silly. Pretty sure we were the only people driving ourselves around. We hit up the non transient part of town, which was full of kids. We must have been right in thinking it was the best place to go, because we didn't see kids anywhere else! Then again, we live smack downtown, not really many houses here. Just businesses. Anyway, it was freezing cold, I was sure I was going to get frost bite! Being the genius I am, I forgot mittens. Plus there's like a foot of snow. Felt like Halloween in January.

It was also James' birthday, so... happy birthday James.

sleep deprivation

I'm being sucked back in to James' sleep habits. Thursday Reid was in town to visit, stayed the night with us. He and I made fajitas for supper, well, mostly I did. With his broken hand and all, he can't cut ot stir. He tried to stir the veggies and flung them all over the stove. Then he, Sherri and I spent an interesting evening at home. They got drunk and did a somewhat dirty dancing show in the kitchen. It was.... interesting, to say the least. Then they tried to invite our neighbor, Bob, over. He stood in the doorway a bit, but I think he was a little creeped out. Reid, Sherri and Joy ended up going to the Hoodoo, and then James come over and we went for a long walk. Reid came back not long after we did, and we stayed up until 4 just hanging out. Reid fell asleep and said something to James in his sleep 'Your mom has ants? Awesome, I'm in'... lol. Good times.

Then Friday, after working with a couple hours sleep, James and I went to Calgary to see a movie. But we left too late and got there just after it started, and it was sold out. We ended up just driving around, with James working out his anger driving. We went back to Canmore, and stayed up til 3:30 with his mom, and then watched a movie til 6. His grandparents were there visiting, and kept coming down to the bathroom, and giving us funny looks cos we were are still up. We fell asleep at 6 something, and I slept on the couch til like 2:30 in the afternoon, until James eventually got up. Sooooo tired. He brought me home, but ended up waiting for me to shower and then we went back to Calgary. Met up with Eric, and went to see the Prestige, the movie we tried to see the night before. It wasn't as good as I'd hoped. Ah well. Finally got home at 2ish, sleep... sweet wonderful sleep.

Calvin was maybe coming to visit today. Said he'd email me before he left Edmonton, to let me know if he's coming or not. I highly doubt he will, but you never know. It's actually a pretty inconvienent time, I'm sick, and I'm going to Calgary tomorrow night to see Claudia, and staying til Tuesday night prolly. I can't wait to see her!! I'm so excited :)

Alrighty I'm done for now. I gotta go clean the bathroom or something.
